I banished cookware tsunamis from my kitchen cabinets with this no-drill Joseph Joseph pot lid holder — hurry while stocks last!
It’s the perfect practical fix ahead of Christmas hosting
I have an awkward corner cabinet in my kitchen which just happens to be my largest storage space. That’s why my pots and pans live in there, but the lids are a mess.
I’ve tried a vertical rack, stacking lids with their pots, even turning them upside down, but storing them has always been a nightmare, especially as I have chronic pain and bending or crouching down at length to find what I need is not great for my body. Then I tried a set of Joseph Joseph adhesive pot lid holder for doors, (available cheaper on Amazon today), and the tsunami of cookware that usually tumbles out when I open the door has finally come to an end.
It’s helped me make use of the vertical storage space inside the cabinet door and simultaneously stopped me injuring myself just to get a lid I need. It’s the perfect kitchen storage idea ahead of busy hosting duties this Christmas holidays that will see this cabinet in constant use.
Joseph Joseph adhesive pot lid holder door organizer really works
Suitable for lids up to nine inches in diameter, these are affordable, and if installed correctly, will last a long time on your door or cabinet wall. I left mine for 24 hours before loading them with lids and they are not going anywhere.

The sticky back
Set of four
Installation took less than five minutes and was easy. I made sure to leave them stuck on for 24 hours before loading my pan lids, as I’d read online beforehand that shoppers who didn’t allow the instructed time found the holders fell off and were not sticky enough to reapply a second time around.
I allowed the adequate time and they are rock solid now, and I’ve been using them for a week. To be honest, I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. It’s such a simple solution for the biggest bug bear I had in my kitchen.
I have a number of painful chronic health conditions, including hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and my joints dislocate at the slightest provocation. That’s why my pan cabinet had become a 'no-go' zone for me, and I had to call in my husband to get me what I needed every time I was well enough to cook.
Now, what I need is right there when I open the cabinet. It’s made the space not only tidier, but more accessible too. It's really helped me organize my cabinets to improve functionality in my small kitchen.
What to shop
There are lots of great storage solutions on offer to help streamline your cabinet spaces, but hurry while stocks last, as some items are running low as Cyber Monday steams ahead off the back of Black Friday sales.
Editor's pick
H&G content editor Chiana tried this out in her messy pots and pans cabinet and she was amazed at how brilliant and simple a storage solution it is. She’s now buying more for other problem areas in her home.
Cyber Monday deal
If you’ve got the space inside your cabinet to use a rack like this, it’ll bring all your lids into one space, and help maintain your new organizing system moving forward. It won't have a pan lid width limit like the Joseph Joseph stick ons.
Adjustable
Clear the mess in your high-traffic cabinet space by organizing your lids with this adjustable rack. There is a version of this item on Amazon which has space for pans as well if you need extra organizing help in this high-traffic kitchen area.
Utilize dead space
If you have tiny kitchen cabinets and wasted vertical space, this is the organizer for you. Stick it under a shelf and enjoy a pull out drawer. It measures 2.75H x 9.25W x 8.25D inches, and is suitable for kitchen shelves over 9.25 inches wide. However, it will not fit on shelves thicker than 0.75 inches.
Lowest price in 30 days
This five-piece podium set will streamline open packets of dried goods, which will help curb pests and spills. Plus, if you have to stack your containers to make best use of limted space, you won't have to remove the top later to reach the lower.
Director's pick
Lindsey Davis, H&G eCommerce director, says, 'I had the Folio 4-Piece Cutting Board Set, but I ended up using just two as I don't cook meat or fish so I streamlined to this smaller set. It fits in the cabinet with a super low profile and barely impacts internal space whilst keeping counters cutting-board-free.
As an aside, figuring out the best spot to attach my Joseph Joseph pan lid holders forced me to organize the kitchen cabinet to improve traffic flow, so that was a nice bonus, and if I’m honest, long overdue!
