Ruggable’s new collection with Morris & Co. is here, and it's the perfect way to bring soft florals into any room
Ruggable and Morris & Co.’s new spring collection brings a sense of whimsy to your home, with playful designs inspired by flora and fauna. Here’s everything you need to know about the collaboration
Ruggable is one of my absolute favorite rug brands. They always have such a vast selection of incredibly durable, machine-washable rugs, which makes them perfect for homes with high traffic (which mine tends to be).
As well as making some of the best rugs, Ruggable is also known for all their amazing collaborations, the most recent of which is with Morris & Co., the famed brand behind some of your favorite floral designs. This is the second collaboration between the two brands, and the spring capsule is fresh and fun, using the beauty of nature, flora, and fauna to bring the joy of the outdoors inside.
‘The new collection from Ruggable x Morris & Co. continues to bring whimsical heritage designs inspired by nature, but now in a soft and springtime color palette,’ says Cassie Leisz, Creative Director at Ruggable. ‘It’s meant to celebrate the beauty of nature with vibrant flora and fauna and fresh seasonal fruits, and capture the beauty of an enchanted English countryside garden.’ All the colorways are fresh, with pastel-inspired hues, juxtaposed with vintage finishes for a classic look that’ll stay on-trend for ages.

‘A sense of whimsy pervades this collection, while always anchored to our heritage as the original company founded by William Morris,’ adds Emma Shoesmith of Morris & Co. ‘The wonder of the English garden party skips across each rug in a spring color palette to accentuate each design, capturing the spirit of Morris & Co while freshly accenting the prints.’
The highly anticipated capsule features 15 timeless designs, all of which are made with Ruggable's patented water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable materials. Plus, Ruggable makes some of the best rugs on the market, so as well as looking gorgeous, these rugs are inherently practical. Here are my favorites from the collection, which will hopefully help inspire some of your own spring decor ideas.
A modern depiction of William Morris's iconic trellis design, this piece incorporates winged birds for a breezy feel. Rosy reds and fresh greens intertwine to finish off the vibrant look.
This arts-and-crafts style rug is a new take on cottagecore, with detailed blooms in springtime shades like pale pink, sage green, and sunny yellow.
A modern take on a heritage classic, the Marigold Blue rug features William Morris' signature line work, depicting flowing lines to symbolize growth. The creamy white on a bright blue background adds a touch of sophistication, too.
Deep indigo contrasts with fresh reds, mossy greens, and golden highlights for a bold, inviting look depicting Morris’ thrushes from his kitchen window. This rug adds a rustic touch to any space, and the dark hues add a touch of moodiness.
The lush leaves on this pretty green rug are the epitome of jungle vibes, but with a sophisticated twist: Featuring staggered fleur de lys, a quintessential motif of the Victorian architect and designer Owen Jones, it pays an ode to vintage times.
The new Morris & Co. x Ruggable collaboration plays with print and color in nuanced ways, allowing for Morris & Co.’s vintage designs to shine through in fresh new palettes. Each piece has been designed with the goal of infusing a fresh spring vibe into the look, and the pastel hues are all perfect for updating your spring decor.
