You can score $800 off a Christmas trees in the Michaels Online Tree Event
The Michaels Online Tree Event gives the gift of savings off indoor and outdoor Christmas trees.
Christmas has come early this week, as the Michaels Online Tree Event brings the gift of up to 60% off artificial Christmas trees. That doesn't sound like much, but I've found one deal where that 60% offer means an enormous $800 saving. It's one of the biggest discounts I've seen all year on any product, even including both Prime Days, Labor Day, and even the July 4th furniture sales.
Whether you’re looking for a tall and full tree for your living room or want a small accent tree for your entryway, Michaels has an incredible collection of holiday foliage to spruce up your space for the festive season.
This year’s Michaels Online Tree Event features a variety of gorgeous indoor and outdoor Christmas trees for all of your holiday decor needs. You can deck the halls with a large 9-foot spruce or add a touch of holiday sparkle to your tabletop with a miniature pre-lit tree. These are my picks of the best options.

For something way off the beaten track, there's always a Barbiecore Christmas tree. This 4-foot tinsel Christmas tree is this year’s most popular color. It's just the thing for a Christmas party or for a kid's bedroom - though maybe not the best choice for the living room.
FAQs
When should I start decorating for Christmas?
There's no single correct occasion when you should start decorating for Christmas. It used to be the first day of Advent, the fourth Sunday before Christmas, but these days December 1 is much more common. as a benchmark. For some, it's easiest to get the decorations ready the weekend after Thanksgiving.
What's better for the environment - a fake tree or a real one?
A real tree is the better option for the environment. While you can reuse artificial trees year after year, their carbon footprint is a lot higher than a real tree, and they take hundreds of years to decompose. A real tree, on the other hand, can be reused for kindling and firewood, and because you can simply grow more trees, it's sustainable.
Michaels isn't the only place you can find good Christmas decor, however. I've covered lots of the other holiday decor that's launched this season, such as the IKEA holiday collection and the Anthropologie holiday collection. Our team has been hard at work scouring the internet for Christmas decor that presents good value, and found tasteful pieces at West Elm, World Market, and even some surprisingly tastful Christmas decor Amazon. All of this is before Black Friday too, so there are even more savings to come.
