Lulu & Georgia's latest collaboration with fashion designer Carly Cushnie has been designed to feel like 'found pieces' – here's why I can't get enough
For her first foray into furniture design, Cushnie designer Carly has partnered with Lulu & Georgia for some fashion-forward designs
If you haven't heard of the fashion label Cushnie, known for its minimalist and sexy aesthetic, you could be forgiven (just). Founded by designer and creative director Carly Cushnie, sadly the New York-based brand who saw the likes of Michelle Obama wear their designs closed during the pandemic – but that hasn't stopped Carly in her creative tracks.
Seeking a new chapter, Carly has taken her fashion prowess and celebrated sense of style to the world of interiors, with her first-ever line of furniture designed exclusively for Lulu & Georgia.
And as someone who used to work in fashion, pouring over the latest Cushnie catwalk collections, I'm rather excited about this one.
'I wanted someone to be able to buy the entire collection and it now feels like it's all come from one place, but that they feel like found pieces,' Carly explains of the eclectic nature of the collection. The styles can sit well together and apart, in harmony or stood alone.

'I wanted to create a collection where each piece had its own story,' Carly explains in a video shared on Instagram. 'But they work together in this sort of eclectic, harmonious way,' she explains.
The plush, velvet Yucca sofa, is a standout piece in the collection. Available in a range of earthy tones, its soft and casual pillow back, slouched arms, and groove detailing bring a vintage feel to any living room. A mix of marbles, from neutral to berry tones, statement accent chairs (the fringed Leon chair screams fashion), and matching ottoman complete the offering. No detail is overlooked here.
The Lulu & Georgia x Carly Cushnie collaboration is out now, with prices ranging from $298 to $4,598. Find our edit of the best from the collection below.

The 9 Best Pieces In The Lulu & Georgia x Carly Cushnie Collab
Available in 8 shades (6 velvets and 2 performance linen blends), the Yucca sofa can be tailored to suit any space or mood. Inviting you to sink in, the cushions and relaxed profile give a vintage feel, while the grooved base and clever upholstery bring a modern edge.
The Mahoe coffee table, made from a honed marble top and travertine legs, is artfully organic. Thanks to the curved legs and bullnose edge, the stone feels rounded and soft in a warm hue.
You can always rely on a well-chosen side table to make an impact in your living room. Designed to be a great spot for putting down drinks or to set down a lamp or vase of flowers, I love the bobbin-esque wood detailing.
Made out of sage Nubuck leather, the Nolina accent chair offers a relaxed and airy silhouette. With its curved lines and supple upholstery, this is a welcome addition to any sitting area. Also available in Blush and Saddle colorways.
With its antique burl finish and striped accents, this wood console table ticks a lot of 2024's trend boxes. With timeless appeal and two handy drawers, I'm considering ordering this to place in my entryway.
Comfortably seating 6-8, this dining table named 'Ramoon' comes in a berry red, rose marble that has been carved into sleek lines to create a centerpiece in your dining room. From family meals to entertaining, this all-marble table adds the perfect touch of polish.
The Leon chair is my favorite piece in the collection. Made of ivory boucle, its dramatic shape and channel tufting make this accent chair a striking addition to an eclectic yet curated edit from Carly.
I was super excited to learn of Carly Cushnie's return to the spotlight, and even more now I have seen the delights of the collection. From statement seating to warm, vintage-feeling wooden furniture pieces and a retro-ready color palette, this is a designer collaboration for the books. What will you be shopping from the edit?
