Spring is back, and that means it's time to mow. However, mowers can be pretty expensive, so it pays off to find the best lawnmower deals.

I've tested dozens of the best lawnmowers in my career, so I know exactly what makes for a good mower.

I'm constantly monitoring this page and making my way through thousands of deals to bring you the very best. I've found a handful of deals worth considering if you're in the market for a new mower. These are the only deals worth considering in November 2024.

The quick links

Here are quick links to the best stores for lawnmower deals. There are cheap mowers at even lower prices and discounts on premium models.

Best push lawnmower deals

Ryobi 13 in. | Was $219.99, now $199.99 at Amazon

Ryobi 13 in. | Was $219.99, now $199.99 at Amazon
If you have a small yard, you don't need anything more complicated than this little Ryobi. It was fantastic when I put it to the test a few years ago. It's lightweight and gives a surprisingly good cut, but it's only 13in wide, so it won't work for more than a 1/4 acre.

Worx WG779 | Was $329.99, now $279.99 at Amazon

Worx WG779 | Was $329.99, now $279.99 at Amazon
If you want a good mower on a budget, you can't go wrong with this. I tested it a couple of years ago but still recommend it; it's lightweight, cuts closely, and great along the edges of a lawn. The only drawback is that it's far too small for big gardens.

Toro 30 in TimeMaster | Was $1599, now $1499 at Tractor Supply

Toro 30 in TimeMaster | Was $1599, now $1499 at Tractor Supply
I haven't tested this mower, but when I've tested other Toro products I've found them exceptional. Made with durable steel, this mower has a useful safety stop feature. This turns off the blades but not the motor, so you can step away from the mower if needed without totally shutting it down.

EGO Power+ Select Cut | Was $$998.99, now $599.99 at Amazon

EGO Power+ Select Cut | Was $$998.99, now $599.99 at Amazon
This is probably my favorite ever cordless mower. It delivers an incredibly precise cut, has headlights to illuminate grass under hedges, and is self-propelled for fast, easy cutting. It's still pretty expensive, but worth considering if you have a bigger budget.

Best riding mower deals

Husqvarna YTH1942 42-in | Was $2399.99, now $1999.99 at Tractor Supply

Husqvarna YTH1942 42-in | Was $2399.99, now $1999.99 at Tractor Supply
It's not the fanciest mower in the world, but this simple riding mower from Husqvarna is the best value deal I've seen. You get a robust mower with a tight turning circle for tackling difficult corners.

Craftsman Z5400 46-in | Was $3199, now $2999 at Lowe's

Craftsman Z5400 46-in | Was $3199, now $2999 at Lowe's
It's not a huge discount, but this American-made mower is getting rave reviews. It has a built-in roller for a stripy lawn and can tackle two acres in one mow.

EGO POWER+ Z6 42-in 56-volt Lithium Ion Electric Riding Lawn Mower | Was $5499, now $4499 at Lowe's

EGO POWER+ Z6 42-in 56-volt Lithium Ion Electric Riding Lawn Mower | Was $5499, now $4499 at Lowe's
This is still pretty expensive, but it's one of the biggest discounts I've seen on a riding mower. Despite being a battery mower, it's one of the fastest zero-turns I've seen, topping out at 8mph thanks to an equivalent 22HP engine.

When is the next lawnmower sale?

Your next best chance to grab a mower on markdown is Memorial Day. The other best times to buy a mower are July 4th and Labor Day. However, you'll also find great deals over Black Friday and December, as stores try to sell off lawnmower stock in the winter.
