I've spied the most beautiful vintage-style glassware in the IKEA spring collection – for just $24.99 they look so much more expensive
IKEA has dropped a new spring collection but I've got my eye on one piece of tableware in particular
Finding affordable yet lasting tableware isn't always easy. You've got to consider quality as well as aesthetics, a combination that can be somewhat hard to come by. So I'm pretty happy when I stumble across expensive-looking serveware and tableware at a bargain price, especially when it also nails the elegant, vintage vibe I love and is perfect for the spring tablescapes I have planned this year.
Like many shoppers looking for a bargain, one brand I often turn to for reliable yet stylish pieces is IKEA. And their recent spring collection, TJÄRLEK is filled with so many fun pieces that are perfect for spring hosting and Easter gatherings.
But there was one thing while browsing the collection that instantly caught my eye among the spring flowers and bunny motifs – an elegant set of colored cocktail glasses that looked like something I would pick up on one of my vintage shopping trips.
When I spied the glasses, my mind instantly went to a retro set I own already that cost double the price and I am so precious about, I only use them for special occasions. With their delicate translucent colored stems and charming curved rims, I was surprised at how chic the set of four was. And how affordable.
Available in a cheerful yellow, vibrant green, pale pink, and subtle purple, there's a color that will suit every guest and prevent any annoying drink mix-ups. They're also the perfect size for a cocktail or champagne, the wide shape allows you to sip away with ease without worrying about any spillage.
They're also multifunctional, as IKEA also recommends using them as bowls to serve delicious desserts such as mousse, parfait, or ice cream.
The TJÄRLEK glasses are finished in adorable colors and have a vintage-style shape that would make a sophisticated addition to any dining room. And they are under $5 a glass, an amazing price.
Retailing at just $24.99 for the set of four, the TJÄRLEK glasses seem like a bit of a no-brainer. The colorful vessels will enhance any table and provide a touch of fun and elegance to your dinner party or drinks, especially when paired with a cocktail napkin and stirrer.

And I am very happy to invest in a few sets of these so I can keep my vintage ones safe. A very similar retro vibe, without me being worried about my orginal set getting damaged.
There are plenty of other fun pieces in the collection, too that are more spring and Easter-coded, from flower-shaped plates to colorful placemats. I particularly love the ornament tree, designed to hang your favorite spring baubles, Easter eggs, or paper decorations.
No dining table is complete without a good set of side plates. Shaped like a flower, this plate will level up any spring table and bring a touch of whimsy to your spread. And not so spring-like you couldn't use all year round.
Designed for hanging ornaments, this decorative tree would make an easy Easter decor idea. Place in front of a window or at the center of a table for a spring statement.
Shop my favorite colorful coupes
If you can't get to an IKEA, there are plenty of gorgeous alternative colorful coupes I have on my wishlist. These are some of my favorites, that would be perfect for spring hosting.
Finished in delicate pastel shades, this cocktail glass set is the ultimate eye candy for any table.
