My favorite Keurig coffee maker is reduced by 72% – at less than $50, it's the deal of the year
I've found 72% off my favorite Keurig coffee maker. The K-Supreme SMART is now $49.99 when it should be $179.99 – don't wait for the Memorial Day sales for this one
If you've been waiting for Memorial Day sales to bag one of the best coffee maker deals of the year, today is your lucky day. In Keurig's early sale, they've discounted one of their most popular models by a whopping 72%. I'd take it to checkout as soon as you can because this won't hang around.
Normally, in the run-up to Memorial Day sales, I see some modest coffee maker deals, set to whet the appetite of enthusiastic coffee shoppers. These are worth picking up if you're in a hurry to get a coffee machine on your countertop, but normally I advise shoppers to hold on for the big event.
However, when I was scrolling through some early Keurig coffee maker deals, I came across a coffee-dropping, heart-stopping deal. The Keurig K-Supreme SMART should be $179.99, but, at Keurig, right now, it's only $49.99. I normally think of Keurig coffee makers as affordable, but this is an overhaul of the term 'affordable'. It's a downright steal.
Luckily for you (and me), one of our experts has hands-on experience with the K-Supreme Smart. She's used it every day since testing it and gave it close to top marks in our tests. Here's everything you need to know about the deal and the Keurig K-Supreme SMART (aside from the fact that it's possibly the best coffee maker deal of the year).
Is the Keurig K-Supreme Smart deal the best coffee maker deal?
Let's talk details first. The K-Supreme Smart is the perfect coffee maker for a range of coffee drinkers and this deal is possibly going to be better than all the Memorial Day discounts that we've been waiting for.
In terms of who it suits, the K-Supreme Smart is perfect for speedy, single-servings of coffee. If you're often in a hurry, it'll be a game-changer.
The beauty of Keurigs is that they are compatible with almost all coffee pods on the market, so you can invest in some reusable ones (such as these reusable capsules from Walmart) as well as specialty, seasonal flavors when you want some fun around the holidays.

The K-Supreme Smart is special because it suits a high-tech coffee drinker but it comes without the premium price tag that lots of these machines demand. Our expert tester, Camryn, says 'the K-Supreme Smart makes a great cup of coffee — or any hot or iced drink you can think of — allowing you to customize brew strength, temperature, drink size, and more. Plus, it's notably more compact than any other Keurig models, making it ideal for small kitchens.'
So, if you're wondering who it suits, the answer is anyone.
Keurig K-Supreme SMART | Was $179.99, now $49.99 at Keurig
This is a higher-end offering from Keurig. It connects to WiFi, offering customization options, five strength settings, six temperature options, and four drink options. You can make iced drinks using a specialty setting that will stop your coffee from tasting bitter. If you download the app, you can control even more functions.
You can read more about the Keurig K-Supreme SMART in our expert's review.
Who does the Keurig K-Supreme Smart suit?
I asked our expert, Camryn for some more details on her experience with the K-Supreme Smart, so that you know whether you're spending your money wisely. She said, 'I loved testing the K-Supreme Smart. It really suited my lifestyle, because it could meet the needs of all my family (thanks to its large water tank). My coffees, hot chocolates, and chias were consistently delicious and ready to drink in less than two minutes.'
The machine caters to lots of people with different tastes. It doesn't come with a huge footprint, as you might expect. Instead, it's svelte, slim, and smart. Camryn's only caution was 'If you're not tech savvy, you won't be able to make the most of its abilities.' However, for under $50, it doesn't matter if you don't connect your phone up at all. This is a steal.
Are there other Keurig deals I should know about?
Right now, you're not going to find a better deal or a bigger saving on a Keurig, or in fact any coffee maker worth buying, than on this. However, if you'd like to keep your options open and peruse the other Keurig and single-serve coffee maker deals, here are some other offers that are pretty tempting.
Was $150, now $74.99 at Keurig
I can get seriously excited about this deal. The K-Select is more simple than the K-Supreme and, whilst it's not as customizable, it still boasts impressive capacity and can make delicious coffee too.
Was $200, now $139.99 at Nespresso
The Vertuo Plus is perfect if you want speedy single-serve coffee. It's more expensive than a Keurig, but the build quality is better, so it's likely to last longer. A 30% saving is worth snapping up.
Was $109.99, now $43.62 at Walmart
The 60% saving on the K-Slim + ICED is another incredible deal. It's not quite as versatile as the K-Supreme SMART, but it makes a mean cold coffee and can make some delicious hot coffee too.
When can I pick up a good coffee maker deal?
If that deal still isn't quite what you're after, rest assured, Memorial Day is coming soon (May 27). We're covering all the best coffee maker deals on offer in the lead-up to and throughout the whole sale event. There will be some big sales across a range of retailers. Stay tuned.
