These sheets come in every size from Twin to King, though there's just the one color. Then again, white is a classic for a reason, and should complement all bedroom color palettes.

I started testing the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set back in January 2024. At first glance, it looks like any other bedding bundle. You get your standard two pillowcases, plus a fitted sheet, and a flat sheet.

Take a closer look at that top sheet. You'll see that it's flat on the top but fitted at the bottom for no-sweat bed-making. All you need to do is tuck the bottom of the sheet beneath the mattress when you first change your sheets. Every morning after that, you can make your bed in a matter of moments.

As H&G's resident Sleep Editor, I think these are the best bed sheets for restless sleepers and anyone who hates making the bed. I'd also recommend the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set if you're shopping for a child who's prone to kicking off their covers in the night. If you've ever asked yourself, 'why aren't my sheets staying on the bed?', then you'll appreciate these sheets: they simply won't slip.

Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set review

I tested the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set for several weeks. In that time, I slept through warmer nights and cold snaps and shared a bed with my sister, who's widely regarded as a bed sheet thief. Each night, the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set kept me just the right side of cool and dry and refused to budge, no matter how much I wriggled.

Who would the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set suit?

  • Restless sleepers: if you tend to toss and turn in the night, and often wake up with your sheets pooled on the floor, you'll appreciate the ingenious elasticated design more than most.
  • Hot sleepers: this sheet set combines the breathability of bamboo with the durability of cotton. I'd put them up there with the best cooling sheets. Each top sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase is designed to dissipate heat and wick moisture for sweat-free sleep. I run a little warm myself, but I never once woke up hot and bothered.

  • Anyone who hates making the bed: with the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set, you can accomplish your least favorite task in mere seconds. All you need to do is tug at the top sheet to smooth it into place: the bottom should stay neatly tucked. It's the definition of effortless bedding.
  • Anyone with an ottoman bed: I've got a lift-up bed in my new place. It's ideal for storage but doesn't make for the most beautiful bedspreads: I often find that my sheets get caught in the hydraulic mechanisms or slip off the side of the bed. Thanks to its all-around elastic, I haven't had any of these problems with the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set.

What is the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set like to sleep on?

Bedding tests aren't often dramatic. A big part of my job is getting into bed, snuggling under the sheets, and falling asleep. Testing the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set was a more energetic exercise. I tossed and turned, rolling right across the bed, to see whether the bottom of the top sheet budged: it didn't, even as I kicked against the fabric.

Your average fitted sheet is only really fitted around the edges: the elastic only encompasses the corners. With the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set, the elastic goes all the way around for the ultimate snug, secure fit. As a bedding tester, I feel like I'm constantly stripping my sheets and making my bed, but it's rarely as easy as it is with this sheet set.

Of course, the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set isn't perfect. At first, I thought I wasn't the biggest fan of the bamboo and cotton blend, but I think I actually take issue with the weave: the sateen feels a little slippery. If you're interested in bedding with heaps of style, and a little more texture, I'd encourage you to take a look at the Piglet in Bed Heritage 100% Linen Bundle.

While the pillowcases aren't anything out of the ordinary in terms of design, I appreciated the breathability of the bamboo and cotton blend: I felt like I always sleeping on the cold side of the pillow. I didn't mind the silkiness of the sateen weave as much: it felt akin to one of the best silk pillowcases.

Should I buy the Peri Lauren Interiors Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set?

The Peri Lauren Interiors Organic Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set retails for just under $200 for a Queen-sized set. That might sound like a lot to spend on bed sheets, but it's a small price to pay to never make your bed again. Still, if you're buying on a budget, I suggest you narrow the search to the best affordable bed sheets.

The Peri Lauren Interiors Organic Bamboo Cotton Sheet Set checks all my major boxes: it's breathable, durable, washes well, and lies beautifully on the bed. I'd happily hand over $200 to get this bedding, though I'd love to see Peri Lauren Interiors expand their colorways.

How we test bed sheets

(Image credit: Future / Emilia Hitching)

As H&G's resident Sleep Editor, I lead a team of expert testers in the search to find the world's best bed sheets. We sleep on sheets for eight hours a night, seven nights a week, for a minimum of 30 nights before we write our reviews. After the initial test period, we continue to sleep on the sheets and update our reviews accordingly.

We score each sheet set against the same criteria: look and feel; thermoregulation; and durability. First, we describe look and feel, considering whether the sheets tend to wrinkle or lie flat on the bed and how they feel against your skin: soft and smooth or tough and textured. Next, we switch off our AC and sleep through all four seasons, making note of any time we wake up in a sweat. Then, we strip the bed and launder the sheets according to the instructions on the care tag. Finally, we remake the bed and continue testing the sheets, considering how the look and feel has changed in the wash.

Where possible, we like to compare our findings against verified customer reviews to see what other shoppers are saying about these sheets. We also consider the practical aspects of buying bed sheets, including the range of sizes and shades and the details of delivery. Then, we compare the performance of the sheet set against the price to help you assess value for money.
