Nicki Minaj buys $19 million contemporary farmhouse in Hidden Hills
The mansion comes complete with a saltwater pool with a spa and Baja shelf for sunbathing – here's what else we know
Rapper Nicki Minaj has purchased a modern farmhouse in the exclusive Hidden Hills neighborhood for $19.5 million.
The San Fernando Valley region is a favorite among celebrities, including Madonna, Sylvester Stallone, and many of the Kardashians, but it has recently acquired a new resident, the Trinidadian-born rapper who is based in the United States.
The MTV award-winning singer, best known for her songs Starships, Super Bass, and, most recently, Tukoh Taka (for the FIFA World Cup 2022), is no stranger to LA's most sought-after areas. She is known to have rented some of the world's best homes, including in Malibu and Beverly Hills.
With her husband, Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj currently lives in a hilltop Mediterranean-inspired mansion in Calabasas, close to her new home. According to Dirt, the home boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and marble floors throughout. However, the couple will likely make their new mansion their primary property.
Nicki Minaj's new home sits amid Hidden Hills, a gated community in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is located next to the city of Calabasas – another favorite among celebrities.
Dirt reports that the property, built in 2022, never had a chance to officially hit the market, meaning details and images are hard to come by. However, tax records suggest that the (nearly) 12,000-square-foot residence has eight bedrooms and nine full bathrooms – along with the expected living and dining spaces.
While not much is known about the home's architectural assets or Nicki's decorating ideas, the report says the house has a poolside cabana, saltwater pool, spa, and Baja shelf for sunbathing in the backyard.

Other stand-out garden landscaping ideas include the grassy lawns that span a whole acre across one of Los Angeles' most exclusive zip codes. There is also a separate guesthouse for when Nicki welcomes visitors who hope to enjoy the SoCal sun.
The primary residence reportedly has expansive glass doors that open to several patios and terraces – all of which are likely to boast views across Hidden Hills. Meanwhile, notable main bedroom ideas include the private balcony high above the backyard.
The former laid-back country community has recently become a magnet for musicians and Hollywood royalty who hope to escape the bustle of Hollywood without being too far from the action.
Where does Nicki currently live?
Nicki Minaj, and her husband, Kenneth Petty, live in a 90s home in Calabasas, a city in the southwestern region of the San Fernando. However, her recent purchase in Hidden Hills is likely to become her primary residence.
