This stylish former London coach house has been designed with wellbeing in mind
Wow-factor style meets wellness in this chic London coach house
Set in a leafy conservation area in Richmond, this former London coach house has been transformed into an elegant, upscale abode – and it's on the market for £2 million.
The home was completed in 2019 to a design by London-based architects TDO. Occupying the site of a former coach house, it's almost a total new build and adds a modern addition to the traditional architecture of the St Margaret's Estate Conservation Area.

It was created with wellness and wellbeing in mind, and has a MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery) system to ensure optimum internal conditions and air quality as well as an Air Source Heat pump. Ecological and natural materials were also used where possible, including VOC-free paint.
The same level of attention was paid to the interiors, with high-end finishes and design-led details.
The stunning kitchen by Plain English boasts beautiful deep green cabinetry and sumptuous marble tops. Vintage artwork adds prettiness to a tough-luxe statement black industrial staircase and oven and exposed brick walls.

There's a beautiful blend of tranquility, vibrancy and practicality, with one bedroom and ensuite showcasing the perfect mix, with dark built-in wardrobes and Buster & Punch industrial brass handles paired with fluted, fringed lampshade and botanical art and soft furnishings.
And the biggest bonus? The charming courtyard garden has direct access to the coveted St Margaret’s Trust Grounds, approximately twelve acres of private landscaped gardens with sprawling lawns, tennis courts and a beautiful lake.
