Jodie Comer's surprisingly modest home life is not what we expected from the award-winning star
The Killing Eve actress recently won a Tony Award in New York – but her usual living arrangement couldn't be further from Manhattan's buzz

Last night, Jodie Comer won best leading actress at the prestigious Tony Awards – for her one-woman Broadway show Prima Facie.
The actress, known for Killing Eve and The Last Duel, currently stars as Tessa, a criminal defense barrister on Broadway – but her home life beyond New York is surprisingly more modest.
Jodie, born and raised in Liverpool, previously revealed that she still lives with her parents in the northwestern English city while in the UK – and she'd be happy to stay there for years into the future.
While the actress could have her pick of the world's best homes, she spends her time in her Childwall – located in the south of the port city. It is also where she spent time during the pandemic – a time that reminded her of how much she loves her family home.

'To have a bit of stillness and be stationary, I'm really kind of… I'm a bit embarrassed to say I'm kind of enjoying it, Jodie shared with the Press Association. She added that she 'honestly cannot imagine not living with my mum and dad.'
'I'd live with my mum and dad till I was old and grey if I could,' she also told The Sunday Times. Glimpses of Jodie's family home are hard to come by, other than a peek inside her backyard (above). However, she has shared that its interiors are no longer the same as when she was a child – and 'doesn't still have a single bed and Winnie-the-Pooh wallpaper.'
'There's no place I would rather be than at home in my pajamas with my brother, watching the telly... That is my happy space. If you are working away a lot, you want to get back to reality,' she also previously told OK!. 'My family keeps me grounded, and I am definitely a home bird''

Jodie's current Broadway commitments mean she is currently staying in New York, but will she ever look beyond Childwall when back in the UK? 'I'm definitely looking to move out. I recognize I need my own space and independence. I just don't want to do it,' she says.
It's easy to see, however, why Jodie wouldn't want to leave. Her mother has been to send a Sunday roast to the actress while working on set in the UK (above), and she has also been pictured spending time with her parents in their local pub. We're less sure how well a home-cooked roast dinner would travel to New York, however.
