'Stop using it immediately': Cosori recalls two million air fryers — find out if you're affected
Cosori recall some of its air fryers in the US, Canda, and Mexico - learn more and what to do next

Cosori has made the rare move of voluntarily recalling its air fryers across North America. Working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada, and the Mexican Profeco, some Cosori air fryers were found to have a flaw in their wiring, which Cosori says is 'posing fire and burn hazards'.
The manufacturer has reported hundreds of fire incidents, as well as 10 minor burn injuries and dozens of reports of property damage. This recall applies to 2 million air fryers in the United States, 200,000 in Canada, and 21,000 units in Mexico.
The air fryers affected are certain models of the Cosori Smart Air Fryer, the Pro II Air Fryer, and the Cosori Original Air Fryer sold between June 2018 and December 2022 at Target, Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers.

You will also need the batch number of your air fryer to make a claim, which will be on the nearest edge of the air fryer. However, you don't need a receipt, so it doesn't matter where you first bought your air fryer.
Can I get a replacement?
Testing air fryers in the Cosori Pro 5.8QT Air Fryer
Yes, Cosori are offering replacement air fryers if yours needs to be recalled. More recent models of the Cosori Smart Air Fryer and the Pro II Air Fryer do not have this problem, as their latest model numbers are not featured in this recall, so you may be able to do a direct swap. You can also swap your air fryer for a different Cosori product, like a multicooker.
