Jumping on the opportunity to grab your next vacuum or cleaning gadget might not be on many people's minds when the Black Friday rush comes around. But actually, doing so is a financially smart move, as many of the essentials we rely on for a clean house are at their cheapest this time of year.
As Homes & Gardens' home tech editor, and somebody who's covered every major sale event since 2021, I can confirm that Black Friday is the best time of year to invest in a new vacuum, floorcare or cleaning gadget, or to simply stock up on the cleaning goods you use year-round.

Best deals
The Pink Stuff - Miracle Cleaning Ultimate Bundle | Was $29.67, now $19.99 at Amazon
The Pink Stuff has gained a cult following among cleaning enthusiasts over the years, including our own Solved content editor, Chiana. She loves using the paste for (pretty much) everything, from cleaning glass shower doors to cleaning glass stovetops and cleaning windows without streaks.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim | Was $649.99, now $399.99 at Dyson
This is the vacuum that I use in my own home (it's one of the best vacuums i've ever tested). Even though the V15 Detect and the Gen5detect in the same range offer slightly more power, the V12 has all the same features – and is much more affordable.
You can find more information in our Dyson V12 Detect Slim review.
Shark Cordless PowerDetect | Was $429.99, now $299.99 at Shark
The latest Shark cordless vacuum happens to be one of the best cordless vacuums our expert reviewers have ever tested (and you can now save $130 in Shark's Black Friday event). It performs excellently across all surfaces, can detect the dirt and floor type for optimal suction, and has a flexible wand for reaching under furniture without straining your back.
You can find our more information in our Shark Cordless PowerDetect review.
Eufy Omni S1 Pro | Was $1,499.99, now $999.99 at eufy and Amazon
The Omni S1 Pro is so expensive because, put simply, this is one of the best robot vacuums on the market. On test, it surpassed the test results from previous robots, vacuuming all floor types well and providing a thorough mopping with a dedicated cleaning solution. If you're looking for the very best, this is it, so make the most of the Black Friday discount
ToLife TZ-C2 Dehumidifier | Was $79.99, now $59.99 at Amazon
For $59.99, this is a pretty impressive appliance. Dehumidifiers at this price point are typically tiny, and will struggle to reach the corners of a small room. But this has many of the same features that the best dehumidifier we've ever tested, the Frigidaire Gallery 50 Pint Dehumidifier with WiFi has, retailing for a whopping $349.99 at Amazon.

Hi everyone – Dan again, before I log off for the night, I wanted to leave you with one last deal from Bissell (but don't worry, I'll be back again tomorrow to bring you even more Black Friday cleaning deals).
Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam | was $319.99, now $239.99 at Bissell (save $80)
More than just a vacuum, the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam is a hard floor cleaner that vacuums, mops and steams for a deep, complete clean. I use a similar model at home and it works wonders.
This deal is also available at Amazon and Kohl's, but if you buy direct from Bissell you'll get an exclusive bundle with extra brushrolls and cleaning solutions.
Hello! Punteha here. I'm Head of Solved at Homes & Gardens, and I write and edit in excess of 1500 articles a year on cleaning and organizing. Here are the top tips I've taken from the brilliant professional cleaners I've spoken to in 2024.
There are many natural cleaning products you can use to get your home spic and span, that also double up as pantry essentials, meaning none of it will go to waste. Clean with white vinegar to tackle limescale, mold, odors and to freshen up musty laundry. The smell evaporates as it dries but you can bulk-buy lavender-scented cleaning white vinegar on Amazon instead, currently on offer from Amazon for Black Friday.
Cleaning with baking soda is the other pantry staple that's turned out to be my favorite tip from cleaning experts this year. I've used it to deodorize smelly spills on the sofa, freshen up tired shoes and neutralize whiffs in our busy fridge. Amazon's Black Friday deal on aluminum-free baking soda is worth snapping up, and you can use it in cooking too! I also found it was a brilliant, gentle abrasive cleaning agent on stubborn scorch marks on my glass stovetop.
I've also militantly swapped out any paper towel usage for long-lasting microfiber cloths. I buy them in bulk and wash them without laundry softener to help maintain their absorbency. A colorful multiple of Mr. Siga microfiber cloths from Amazon, is now on sale with 43% off. P.S pick a color for each room's cleaning to avoid cross-contamination in your home.
Looking for a quick and easy way to remove odors in your home? Now it's winter, the increase in musty, damp smells is only on the increase (especially as we're not opening our windows as often), and these handy little charcoal bags can be placed all over the home to help target unwanted odors.
Activated Charcoal Odor Absorber | Was 29.99, now $17.08 at Amazon
These odor absorbers effectively eliminate odors and damp, and purify air, which is why using them is one of the things people with a nice smelling closet always do. They're also rechargeable – simply place them in the sun to release trapped moisture and they're good for reuse for up to two years.
We explore more ways you can use activated charcoal in your home in our dedicated feature.
Hi everyone, Dan here, Homes & Gardens' Home Tech Editor (responsible for all things cleaning, smart home, sound and air treatment across the Solved section on the website). I'm kicking things off on our Black Friday cleaning deals LIVE page with a great Dyson deal.
Dyson V15 Absolute | was $749.99, now $549.99 at Dyson
This is one of the best vacuum cleaners our expert team has ever tested. The green laser highlights dust that the naked eye can't see, and it excels across all floor types, picking up all dust, debris and hair in a single pass. You can now save $200 in Dyson's Black Friday sale event.
You can find out more information in our Dyson V15 Absolut review.
