The air fryer hype shows no signs of slowing down. When they first came on the scene a few years ago, I thought they were a gimmick. They seemed like a fad that would quickly fall out of fashion.
Years later - and dozens of air fryer reviews later - I have to concede that these appliances are life changers; I use mine every day. They make it quick and easy to cook a huge range of different foods with less oil than frying or roasting.
I've been a product tester for years. I've tried dozens of air fryers, so I know firsthand which products are worth your time - and which are fairly priced and offer genuine discounts. The rest of the team is the same, with dozens of air fryers under their belts. Most importantly, air fryer expert Lydia Hayman is even a trained chef, and vets all our reviews. Every air fryer on this page has been recommended by a professional.
Black Friday deals are already here, and so far this year is much better than the last. Many of our favorite air fryers are already cheaper than they were last Black Friday. We track prices throughout the year, so we know which too-good-to-be-true deals are lies and which are actually worth your money. If you need a good air fryer deal, you'll find it here.

Our favorite air fryer deals
After trawling through thousands of deals, this is the best deal we've seen so far, and a few others worth considering.
Both Chef Lydia and I agree that this is one of the best air fryers we've tested. The Odor Erase tech sounds like a gimmick but actually works, and while the 'ClearCook Display' is an over-the-top term for 'window', it makes cooking much easier because you can monitor your food as it cooks. Best of all, it's at the lowest price we've seen this year.

This Instant Pot hugely impressed us when we put it to the test. It's an air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, and dehydrator in one appliance. Expert tester Helen used it to make macaroni cheese in a single pot, with broiled cheese on top thanks to the air fryer function. It's also our choice for the best non-toxic air fryer, thanks to its stainless steel basket.

If you love to cook, you need the ChefMaker. It has a probe thermometer to help you achieve perfect doneness for cuts of meat. Chef Lydia thinks it's the best air fryer for foodies, and it's now more than 40% off – you could be baking cookies, steaming lobster, and air-crisping perfect asparagus in time for Christmas.
Lydia's Dreo ChefMaker review has more details.
This slender air fryer is Chef Lydia's favorite - it's actually the model she uses at home. It has a huge 10-quart capacity tucked into a small countertop footprint. Though it looks like it has just two drawers, you can use it to cook four ingredients at once; it has four cooking levels.

We loved this air fryer when we tested it a few years ago. It's the easiest model to use thanks to its simple cooking modes. The price has dropped a lot as Philips introduces newer models, and it's a bargain at 50% off.

Our pick for the best non-toxic air fryer is also on sale. It has a stainless-steel basket with none of the PFOA concerns of other air fryers. It blew us away on test; it's technically a multicooker, but the air fryer is so good that it's like an air fryer with a ridiculous amount of bonus features. If you want an air fryer that can also slow cook, sous-vide, and even make yogurt, this is the one.
This Instant Pot hugely impressed us when we put it to the test. It's an air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, and dehydrator in one appliance. Expert tester Helen used it to make macaroni cheese in a single pot, with broiled cheese on top thanks to the flawless air fryer function.

I've just found a great deal for British readers - a Ninja Foodi two-drawer air fryer at the lowest price I've ever seen.
This is one of our favorite two-drawer air fryers. It offers a huge 9-litre capacity, and it's incredibly fast. It's great for cooking huge amounts of food quickly - it's actually the air fryer we use in the test kitchen to whip up some quick fries for lunch between reviews. The only drawback is that it takes some getting used to - it's not always intuitive to use the 'sync' and 'match' cooking methods.

Air fryers vs toaster ovens - what's the difference?
These appliances seem very similar, but there are actually some differences between the two.
Air fryers suspend food in a basket to rapidly cook food. It's like a miniature oven. A toaster oven works more like a miniature broiler.
Air fryers claim to have lots of different functions, but they're usually some form of air frying (roasting and baking functions almost always use the same heating program as air frying).
Toaster ovens tend to have more genuine functions, like warming and slow cooking.
These days lots of toaster ovens have an air fryer function, too. For maximum versatility, I'd opt for a toaster oven, but air fryers tend to be cheaper.
For example, compare these two appliances, both on sale for Black Friday:

Drew Barrymore's stylish Beautiful Touchscreen Air Fryer is actually good. We were very skeptical when we saw a celebrity air fryer for under $100, but when we put it to the test we found a pretty great air fryer for the price. It feels a little flimsy, but if you want something cheap this is as good as it gets.

A best-selling appliance from Breville, this versatile toaster oven is now a steal in the sales. Both Lydia and I have tested this oven and highly rated the cooking performance; the only things we could fault were the instructions booklet and a slightly irritating cleanup. Just bear in mind that this deal isn't as good as Amazon says; the RRP is listed at $349.95 on Breville, not $399 as on Amazon.

First up, one of our old favorites is now ridiculously cheap. We love this air fryer. It's fast, compact, and simple. It won't steam your veggies or tell you the doneness of your meat like fancier air fryers, but it's perfect for throwing in some frozen fries for a quick dinner after work.
This compact little air fryer is incredibly fast and excels at cooking at high temperatures. On test, we thought it did a particularly good job at cooking fried food. This is a great deal, too - much cheaper than we saw last year.

Hi everyone. My name is Alex and I'll be covering the best live air fryer deals with Chef Lydia as they happen. I've tested air fryers for years for several magazines, so I've seen dozens of models and watched carefully as the prices have fluctuated.
This is my sixth Black Friday covering appliance deals. In recent years, Black Friday has seen some disappointing sales, but we're already seeing better prices this year than last year, so you can actually save some money on the best air fryers.
