I've tracked down all of the elegant kitchen tools Meghan Markle uses on her Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan' – here's how to recreate the chic farmhouse vibe
The list contains everything from Le Creuset braisers to Japanese knives and a $39 coffee maker

Some critics have been quick to judge Meghan Markle’s culinary skills in her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which spans everything from candle-making to cake decorating and beekeeping. But as I watched Meghan simmer pasta dishes and slice fresh crudités, one thought kept crossing my mind: her kitchen appliances are absolutely beautiful.
Although the show wasn’t filmed at Meghan Markle's elegant Montecito home, the rented farmhouse kitchen certainly reflects her signature taste. I spotted walnut wood chopping boards, copper pans, and even one of the best non-toxic coffee makers in her kitchen – which is only $39, but looks so much more expensive.
As a kitchen appliance expert, I’ve tracked down every item I could identify and curated this list, so you can bring Meghan Markle's 'effortlessly elegant' vibe into your own kitchen.
Meghan Markle's chic kitchen tools
With these chic tools straight from Meghan Markle's kitchen, you'll be able to host a functional set-up that's inviting, aesthetic, and above all, enjoyable to use.
Meghan welcomes her guests with a pot of delicious French press coffee, using Bodum's bistro-style carafe that has been around for 75 years. This timeless design is one of our favorite non-toxic coffee makers, since it uses glass, a stainless steel plunger, and lid. It looks so chic, but it's only $39.
The large flat shape and shallow sides of this Le Creuset braiser are ideal for browning meat and enhancing caramelization. Designed with the highest quality materials, it can last a lifetime – and the neutral Brioche colorway is timeless too. If you want to know if Le Creuset is worth it, we've written more thoughts, here.
Meghan hangs copper cookware so elegantly above her stove, achieving a Mediterranean vibe. Hestan is the best brand you'll find, making their pans in Italy with a conductive copper core and stainless steel lining. This small skillet is the perfect pan to start building your collection.
When a recipe calls for citrus zest or fine shavings of garlic or ginger, a Microplane does it all effortlessly. Meghan uses hers for zesting lemons in the show. I also use mine daily, and once you have one, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.
Japanese knives are often celebrated as the top choice for keen cooks, so it's no surprise that Meghan uses a premium Shun knife. The ultra-thin, high-quality steel blades are very precise and the handle is very comfortable to hold. Meghan has even better taste than I realized.
I believe the exact brand of kettle Meghan has on her stove is a Viking whistling kettle, but this is sold out everywhere right now (no surprise there, it's the Meghan effect). I also love this All-Clad version which is dishwasher-safe and under $100.
You might expect Meghan to have all-round expensive taste, but she actually uses the most affordable Vitamix in the brand's lineup. The E320 Explorian blender is powerful and easy-to-use. We highly-rated this model in our expert review, since it blitzed perfect smoothies and heated soup, too.
I love the way Meghan Markle uses texture with her kitchenware. I tracked down her artisan hand-crafted ceramic pieces on Pottery Barn. Meghan use these bowls to serve her signature hummus recipe.
Meghan contrasts creamy ceramics with deep wood textures. I love her choice of the walnut wood chopping board, which brings rich natural luxury to her kitchen. Looks aside, this John Boos block is a famous and celebrated brand for its longevity and exquisite craftsmanship.
With a clever textural blend of stainless steel, copper, walnut wood and creamy ceramics against those classic white kitchen counters, the inviting atmosphere of Meghan Markle's Netflix kitchen comes together easily.
All the items on this list are also approved by myself, as a Kitchen Appliances Expert – I've tested and loved many of them, from Le Creuset to Vitamix. So, whatever her critics have to say about the show, I can tell you that Meghan really knows her stuff when it comes to excellent kitchen tools.
