IKEA's new STOCKHOLM collection is HUGE – there are 96 chic pieces to shop and prices start from just $3.99
STOCKHOLM is IKEA's largest collection yet, and features a beautiful collection of homeware pieces that nod to Swedish design

To celebrate forty years since the launch of the first iconic STOCKHOLM collection, IKEA has released a new furniture and decor range to honor the line's long history.
With 96 products to choose from, the new STOCKHOLM range is the largest edition yet, and is the perfect way to channel Scandinavian decor ideas. Made up of midcentury-style furniture and vibrant geometric prints, it's an effortlessly cool nod to IKEA's historic designs, fusing the past and present in one oh-so-chic collection.
IKEA has stayed true to its roots, the team of Swedish designers who created the line's designs have nodded to Stockholm's urban and natural landscapes while also proving that style can come at a low price.
Every single piece feels high-end yet easy to integrate into homes of any style. It wasn't easy, but we've put together a selection of our favorite pieces from the new range.

Created by textile designer Paulin Machado, STOCKHOLM's soft furnishing selection is filled with all sorts of inspiring patterns but we particularly love this multi-colored pillowcase, perfect for bringing drama and vibrancy to a plain bed or sofa.
Designed by Ola Wihlborg, the wide modular sofa comes in four colors including a deep turquoise velvet. He says, 'I wanted to create a high-quality sofa that maintains its shape and looks the same even after you stand up from sitting in it. Something that prioritizes comfort without needing extra pillows.'
Nike Karlsson designed this rattan cabinet for the 2017 STOCKHOLM collection and it became a sought-after favourite. In the new collection, the cabinet features a surface woven from rattan fibers, lovingly handcrafted and woven together.
The vintage-inspired chair will bring some life to your scheme, subtly nodding to IKEA's history. Place at the end of a dining table or at the center of a desk for a bistro-inspired look.
With curved legs and a smooth glass top, this wood coffee table feels ultra-chic and effortlessly cool. Place at the heart of your living room for a casual set up that invites guests to sit back and relax.
Rugs are an easy way of bringing vibrancy into a scheme, particularly if you've decorated with neutrals and need some color. With its checkered weave and fun colorway, this forest green rug is a playful choice for pattern lovers.
Inspired by nature, STOCKHOLM's rugs are made from 100% wool, making them a lasting choice for the home. Paulin says, 'Nature is the best designer – every color matches beautifully in the natural world, and you can see how we have tried to capture the hues of Sweden’s seasonal shifts.'
This handblown water jug is elegant and classic in shape. Its delicate rim and bulbous base come together, transforming a mundane household item into a stylish centerpiece.
Made from pine and a woven material, this low-slung chair is deeply classic. Nike Karlsson says, 'We worked with a Swedish pine supplier to source the highest-quality pine. People often think of pine as a budget material, but when you go for the best and apply smart, efficient design techniques, its beauty is undeniable.'
Simple yet elegant in shape, this rich yellow table lamp will bring warmth and life to a space, day or night. Place on a bedside table with a luscious green plant for an inspiring and fun arrangement.
For a laid-back, bohemian vibe, place this rattan armchair in a sunroom or out on the patio. With its curved back and plush seat, it's an easy choice that will blend with all styles of spaces, be it a coastal garden or a modern organic living room.
Always ahead of the curb, IKEA is one of the most renowned names in Scandinavian interior design, and when they release such an epic collection such as this one, it's a reminder of why. Their latest STOCKHOLM collection is filled with cool and contemporary pieces all priced at affordable sums, making it an easy choice for design lovers looking to bring a hint of Scandi into the home.
