With over 20 types of houseplants in my home, it's no surprise I'm just about running out of room. Every windowsill is covered, floor space is taken up by larger houseplants, and I've even had to resort to giving up bookshelf space for plants. That's why I'm beyond thrilled to have spotted the most sleek, functional, and innovative plant stand in the Amazon Big Spring Sale.

The most exciting part? This indoor plant stand with grow lights from Amazon is designed to also support indoor growing, thanks to its grow lights. It's the neatest plant stand for indoor plants I've come across, and with the capacity of eight tiers, plus a hook for a hanging plant, it's a no-brainer that this is the best solution to my current houseplant problem.

And if I needed any more encouraging, customer reviews reveal the plant stand is 'really easy to set up' and is 'well-made and stable.' Here's why you should also get your hands on this plant stand while the Amazon sale lasts.

My houseplant problem

Quite simply put: I have lots of plants and not a lot of room left for them. An easy solution would be to stop adding to my collection, but plant-lovers like me are never quite done with picking up the best indoor plants and I really can't stop myself when I come across the most unusual houseplants.

Not only this, but houseplant propagation is one of my favorite pastimes. There's something joyous about watching a cutting push out tiny little roots that later turn into a brand new plant. Gifting loved ones the easiest houseplants grown from cuttings is also one of my favorite things to do.

Of course, this takes up even more room in my home. In particular, my propagations are usually lined up on my sunniest windowsills where they benefit from both light and warmth for root development.

I do have grow lights for houseplants that I use for propagation, but these aren't necessarily space-saving, as they just sit above a single layer of plants.

The solution? Finding a way to create an indoor vertical garden that matches the aesthetic of my interiors and ideally incorporates room for cuttings.

How this plant stand offers the perfect solution

By simply adding this plant stand to my living room, it's clear I would instantly gain back at least eight spots where my houseplants are currently sitting. In fact, it's likely to be even more as I have a number of small indoor plants that could pair up on the tiers of the plant stand.

Not only this, but the full spectrum grow lights offer an ideal indoor growing system for houseplant cuttings. It even has a timer so there's no need to worry about turning it off, and you can adjust light levels as needed - essential for speeding up houseplant propagation.

I also love the stylish appearance of this plant stand. It has an S-shape that maximizes the number of plants it can display, with modern dark wood and black metal. The fact it incorporates room for the best indoor hanging plants is a bonus, allowing houseplants to be shown off as décor pieces in the home.

The one drawback? It is quite an expensive piece and won't be in everyone's budget. However, with all the benefits it can provide houseplants, its apparent durability, and the fact it such a sleek piece of furniture makes it a worthwhile investment to me.

What shoppers think

With 932 ratings at the time of writing, Amazon shoppers have given this plant stand 4.5/5 stars, reassuring me once again that it's a reliable choice to home my houseplants.

One satisfied customer noted 'the instruction images are very easy to follow' and the stand included the tools they needed to put it together.

Another five-star reviewer said: 'I was never able to grow plants in my house because of the very low lighting and there is no option for me to set plants by a window. I decided to give this a try. My plants are thriving with the lighting provided with the stand. It also is a perfect fit for my space. Overall good product, very pleased with the purchase.'

It's also reassuring to know the plant stand is 'well-constructed' and 'it doesn't topple over,' according to one happy shopper, so plants are quite secure to live on the tiers of this plant stand. There's even an option to secure it to the wall, multiple customers point out.

As for how it appears, one customer noted, 'it really does look like the marketing photo.' Not only that, but they add it's 'good quality, the wood looks very nice.'
