One of the highlights of being a Celebrity Style News Editor at Homes & Gardens is that I get to keep a close eye on the celeb real estate market. The latest property that has caught my attention? A 7 bed, 5 bath house in Cumming, GA, just outside of Atlanta. It belongs to none other than country musician Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band. It's the ultimate blend of rustic living within city proximity and Brown himself said he is sad to be giving up the idyllic property.

'This has been an incredible home for me and my family,' Brown states of the modern rustic property in a video provided by the estate agent. 'Being this close to Atlanta, but feeling like you're private and a world away, which is great.'

Listed at $3,250,000, the 3-story, Georgia home sits on a private part of Lake Lanier. The minimalist home, built in 1994, sits on 0.81 acres of land, and contains 9.448 square feet of surface area. There is space for up to five cars in the driveway, leaving the sprawling driveway clear for a view of the lush greenery surrounding the property. In addition to the lake, it boasts its own pool. The home is represented by Katie McGuirk of The Katie McGuirk Team.

We love how open and airy the living room is. The hardwood floors are complemented by neutral furniture pieces, including beige boucle seats and a white sofa. The large windows look out onto the forest; talk about a serene space.

The log fireplace idea is definitely a standout. Sandwiched between minimal, white bookshelves, the cozy fixture adds just the right amount of rusticity to the sleek and neutral space.

Meanwhile, the kitchen and dining area is outfitted with ample seating, in the form of both a dining table, bar stools, and island seats. It also features dual sinks, dishwashers, and a walk-in pantry.

The primary bedroom is elegant with an emphasis on comfort. The same hardwood floors serve as a base, while a separate, stone fireplace, multiple windows, and neutral furniture ensures it remains a sanctuary for sleep.

The bathroom is outfitted with a modern tub, which again, has view of the natural wonders outside the home. The black, mirrored frame at the vanity adds a sophisticated touch to the space.

The rich wood of the wardrobes in this walk-in closet are both functional and fashionable. We love how the island provides even further storage, as well as surface space to lay out clothes.

The basement is primed for entertaining, with a stone bar, a TV and (yet another) stone fireplace, a ping-pong table, and even a dart board.

Finally, the pool has a grotto-feel thanks to stone landscaping and trees surrounding the area and it's right in view of the lake.

The blend of neutrals and natural, textured elements in the property create a warm and welcoming environment, and one that is simple to replicate.

This property is a masterclass in making minimalism interesting. By integrating a variety of textural finishes and layering shades, you can recreate a similar minimal, yet warm and luxurious look. We recommend opting for a tonal color scheme with a variety of different shades of the same color.
