I hated this sofa color until I saw it in Victoria Beckham's bedroom, and now I can't stop thinking about dark pistachio green – here's how I'm replicating the most exciting color trend of 2025
Forget sage – pistachio green is the sophisticated shade that is set to top color trends in spring 2025

The culinary world has long given us fantastic food-themed color trends, from cherry red and avocado green to salmon pink and butter yellow – with seemingly no end in sight.
Pistachio green is the latest color trend set to top decorating agendas in spring and summer 2025. Already a firm favorite among designers, decorators, and even some of our favorite A-list celebrities, it is worth exploring the decorating potential of this tasty green nut.
Increasingly, we’re seeing its influence trickle into interior design trends with many stylish interpretations of pistachio green decor. It's more refined than lime green and lighter and brighter than the somber teal. This punchy color is a quick way to add a sophisticated splash of color to just about everywhere in your home, and while it’s an excellent color choice year-round, now seems like a good time to decorate with green.
If you're looking for inspiration, esteemed fashion designer Victoria Beckham's pistachio green sofa is a great place to start. The former Spice Girl always has her finger on the pulse, so, unsurprisingly, she was one of the first to showcase this divisive yet in-demand color in her dressing room.
At first glance, I detested this color. As a lover of green room ideas, pistachio green was one of my least favorite verdant hues on the color spectrum, but after seeing the many luxury designs and contemporary online offerings available, I am convinced. Yes, pistachio green has stolen my heart.

Shop the look
When it comes to setting the table, the elegance is in the glassware. From hosting friends to elevating a weeknight dinner, stemware makes meals an occasion. These mouth-blown water glasses offer a simple silhouette with a pop of that perfect pistachio green color that plays to both vintage and modern tablescapes.
If you want to give your living room a contemporary update, look no further than this pistachio green decorative ceramic vase. For an instant hit of style, style it with dried cotton balls, baby's breath, or freshly picked flowers from the garden.
Storage favorite
Organize small items with these 2-Piece Powder-Coated Rectangular Metal Storage Trays from Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia. Crafted from a durable metal, these open-top trays are ideal for keeping crafting materials, stationery and other items close and organized for quick access.
This oh-so-plush bath mat will introduce a hint of playful pistachio green charm to your home spa. The scallop edging is one of my favorite designs of the past few years, and is still a fun way to decorate in 2025.
Biophilia is a big design trends for spring 2025, and what better way to introduce a floral and fauna hit then with this Round Rattan Tray – perfect for perching jewels, trinkets and decorating objects on. It is already on my shopping list.
Using curved lines within a home offers a wealth of benefits, including the potential to add both flow and dynamism. If you're unsure, this Tall Glass Vase is the perfect place to start. Pair with yellow florals for a visually-pleasing aesthetic.
Not yet convinced to give this delicious color a try in your home? Pistachio green might not be the first color you consider when decorating a room, but it should be.
Grounding yet confident, this balanced, earthy color can bring us back to nature or give us a sense of luxury. Start by decorating with smaller accents and gradually introduce more and more over time.

In addition to its mood-enhancing properties, pistachio green is loved by interior designers for its versatility. Exciting yet calm, it works in any room and can be paired with so many colors. Pistachio’s soft tones make it a great shade to experiment with unconventional color pairings – for me, the perfect match is another foodie favorite – eggplant.
Anyone who believes the adage that blue and green shouldn't be seen together has never tried this delectable duo. It simply doesn’t occur to me to work with a rule book when it comes to color combinations for rooms. Pairing mid-tone greens and deep blue-purple tones will add just the right dose of drama.
This underrated, and oh-so-cool pistachio green shade finally has its well-deserved moment in the spotlight – and I believe it is here for the long haul.
