Victoria Beckham's textured closet chair is right on trend for 2025 – experts say its soothing hue brings calmness to her hectic space
The designer's all-white closet gets a subtle dose of color thanks to a powder blue armchair, which provides contrast as well as a soothing ambiance
A peek inside fashion and beauty icon Victoria Beckham's closet reveals rows of neatly organized clothing and shoes, giving us lots of inspiration in the way of storage inspiration. However, a recent clip of the space has us admiring another (colorful) aspect of the enviable storage room.
A powder blue chair caught our eye in the video shared on Beckham's Instagram page, giving a unique spin to one of 2025's biggest trends: primary colors.
Rather than go for a royal or navy blue (tapping into the traditional primary color look), Beckham has opted for a soothing, light shade, which still provides contrast and visual interest in the otherwise white space, making us consider how we decorate with blue.

According to experts, blue's impact on a room is powerful. Depending on the shade, blue can completely determine a space's ambiance, and as such, blue paint and furnishings should be chosen carefully.
'Blue is more than just a color; it’s an experience that transforms any space into an oasis of calm and sophistication,' says designer Nina Lichtenstein. 'Known for its versatile charm, blue can range from the softest pastels to the deepest navies, each shade bringing its own unique ambiance to a room. When used thoughtfully in home decor, blue has the power to create spaces that feel serene, grounded, and timeless.'

Blue accessories also make great additions to spaces like bedrooms and home offices, where we like to wind down or focus.

'Beyond its calming influence, blue also has a grounding effect,' Lichtenstein says. This makes it perfect for a hectic space (such as a walk-in closet), where you're likely to spend time rushing and rooting through drawers before you head out of the door.
'When used as a primary color in a room, blue can anchor the space, providing a stable backdrop that allows other elements to shine. This versatility makes blue a go-to for designers seeking to create interiors that are both stylish and serene.'
Swivel Chair
This robin's egg blue seat features plush cushions and a swivel base, perfect for a walk-in closet, living room, or even an office. It's the perfect way to get Beckham's closet look, minus the clothes (sadly).
Dark Sofa
This wood-framed, blue velvet couch combines texture with functionality – it also pulls out into a bed (becasue the only thing better than a good-looking furnishing is one that's multi-purpose).
Light Rug
Who says we need to limit blue to the chair or sofa? We love this durable, fade- and stain-resistant rug in a perfect shade of pale blue (designed to bring a sense of calmness to any closet or living space).
If your closet is not large enough for a sofa, consider adding other blue accessories, such as hangers or even a step-stool to achieve the same color infusion as Beckham.
