The Weeknd's Los Angeles penthouse has sold for $18 million – we've got the low down
The Can't Feel My Face musician's sold his mansion-sized condo in the Beverly West building
The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye, has sold his Los Angeles home for $18 million, about $3 million less than he bought the home for.
The Canadian musician, responsible for top hits such as Blinding Lights and recently in the news for his role as a producer in HBO's controversial drama The Idol, put the home on the market in February.
The Weeknd's home has finally sold for one of the highest condo prices ever paid in LA. Tesfaye's former Bel Air home occupies the entire 18th floor of the illustrious Beverly West building. The property is adjoined by the Los Angeles Country Club and its golf greens, which act as a sort of backyard to this luxurious space.
Photos by Robb Report Real Estate show that the home offers panoramic views of the city as well as an impressive collection of modern art and furniture and offers infinite home decor ideas.
The star of the show is definitely the ceiling-high windows around the entire penthouse apartment (practically like glass walls!). They offer 360-degree views all the way from Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains. That's certainly one way to increase natural light in your home.
Interior features include dark, shimmery marble countertops in the kitchen, which is described in the listing as 'a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen.'
There is also walnut paneling throughout the home, including inset shelving, showing off the former owner's impressive collection of art. Sculptures and modern art cover every (non-glass) wall in the stylish modern penthouse. The home also includes a stunning entertainment bar including a total of 130in of televisions, making it the ultimate home for film viewings and TV screenings. Modern decorating ideas abound.

The listing from The Beverly Hills Estates recounts that the home is approximately 8,000 square feet. It is comprised of four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The primary bathroom includes a massive, stand-alone tub with 360-degree views of the city.
The level of luxury in The Weeknd's modern penthouse is unmatched.
