Miley Cyrus' cozy and opulent bedding taps into the most fashion-forward trend of 2025 – the luxe style is fit for a rockstar
The singer is known for her unique and independent personality, and her bedroom certainly matches, borrowing a trend from the 2025 runways
From Simone Rocha, to Jean Paul Gaultier, to Schiaparelli, fur and hair have been popping up all over the runways this season. Though fur has long been a cornerstone of fashion, the modern consumer is interested in sustainability, animal rights, and making cost-effective choices. Enter: faux fur. Once exclusive to fashion, the kinder alternative to fur has grown rapidly in the interior design space, quickly becoming a key trend prediction for 2025. Miley Cyrus styles the popular look to perfection.
Interior stylist Jenna Peffley shared an image of Cyrus's bedroom idea, artfully designed by her mother, Tish Cyrus-Purcell. The entire space is grounded by a faux fox fur blanket, tucked gracefully into the sides of her industrial silver bed. Its notes are reflected in the zebra-print-clad image of Blondie above the bed and the gray pillows against the headboard. Metallic and urban details like the sculptural lamp and mirrored dresser add contrast.
Given the focus on maximalism and texture in 2025, it only makes sense that faux fur is emerging as a popular interior design trend. As evident in Cyrus's space, the pitted and valleyed surface of a faux fur blanket or pillow is ideal for contrasting smooth surfaces. Faux fur also feels fun and whimsical, bringing a sense of personality to any space where it is used. Furthermore, interior trends tend to follow fashion trends, and roughly a year on from the heydey of the fur-coat-clad TikTok 'mob wife aesthetic,' it tracks that fur would appear in our homes for early 2025. The bedroom is the perfect place to feature the look.

The Cozy Faux Fur Edit
Alluring Texture
For a subtler look on the faux fur trend, I'd recommend this gorgeous, textured blanket from Cozy Earth. The cream hue is understated, and the material is supremely soft.
Multi-Colored
This brownish mink throw is perfect for incorporating texture and warming color into a bedroom. I love how much character this design has, similar to Cyrus's pick.
Perfect for fall/winter
No seat is complete with a luxurious pillow or throw, so snuggle up with a decadent, faux throw blanket. This hypoallergenic throw is just what your hanging chair is missing.
Furthermore, the faux fur trend isn't relegated to just the bedroom - it's also a key style for 2025 living room trends. Joana Sadovskaja, design expert at Lovesofas, explains: 'Fur, both lambswool and faux, is set to be a key player in sofa design in 2025, adding a layer of coziness and opulence that’s hard to resist. These statement textures bring a sense of luxury while providing warmth during colder months.'
She advises: 'Make a statement with a faux fur accent chair or elevate your seating area with fur cushions or throws. Whichever you choose, this luxurious fabric will add a touch of comfort and sophistication to your space.'
Miley Cyrus's bedroom is so stylish because the way she uses faux fur is perfectly in line with her personality. When tapping into this trend, be sure to stay in touch with your own personal style, and you'll be right on track.
