The Kardashian-Jenner clan always goes all-out for the holidays, with grand Christmas trees and extravagant decorations flanking their respective estates.

This year is no exception, with the famous family's 2024 approach giving us plenty of Christmas decor ideas. Kris Jenner is the latest to provide some inspiration, with a recent snap of her entryway showing off some serious holiday decor.

Green Christmas trees are the star of the show, with white lights illuminating the voluminous branches. There is also a festive Santa Clause figurine serving as a centerpiece on an elegant table, while garlands line the grand staircase banister. The fresh greenery is a timeless classic for a reason, pairing perfectly with the crisp creams in Jenner's entryway. When in doubt, a simple garland can add a festive flair to any space, and all the better if there are glittering lights attached to it, too.

Following Jenner's lead (with several Christmas trees, if the space allows) is an impactful way to make a first impression on all who pass through your home this December. However, Avalana Simpson, a founder of Avalana Design, explains how we can also create a lasting impression with the right entryway garland.

'For me, entryway garlands are having the biggest makeover this Christmas. What was once a traditional way of adding festivities to grand homes has become a mainstay up and down the country, but what we are seeing is people really using this area to decorate their stairs in a way that's a true reflection of themselves,' Simpson explains.

To take things a step further, she suggests drawing inspiration from your wallpaper (if you have such a wallcovering in your entryway). 'My customers have been taking inspiration from their bold and wild wallpaper coverings,' she says. I adore this more is more attitude.'
