Decorating with florals is not just for spring, and this stands especially true for flower and plant-printed wallpapers. The association with floral wallpapers and stuffiness is more than certainly a thing of the past; with endless ways to style around these wall coverings, we are seeing them pop up in more and more celebrity homes.

Case in point: Kelly Ripa's bathroom wallpaper, which features a cream and green, leafy print that delightfully veers into the ever-trendy botanical territory.

The intricate design and lush color palette are soothing and versatile, lending its earth tones to the rest of the space, all while maintaining visual interest with its pattern. It's a win-win design choice.

Shop the look

According to experts, flowers and plants are increasingly popular in interiors, making them a fantastic pattern choice for the bathroom and beyond.

'Floral and botanical motifs are making a grand comeback,' explains Johanna Constantinou, interior trends expert at Tapi. 'From wallpapers to upholstery, large-scale botanical prints add a touch of nature and vibrancy to interiors. Pairing these prints with neutral tones ensures they remain the focal point without overwhelming the space.'

Johanna notes that these prints should be the focal point of a space; you should be decorating around a floral or botanical printed wallpaper, not against it.

'The key to incorporating bold botanical prints is balance – pairing them with neutral backgrounds and minimalist decor elements ensures they remain an accent rather than an overwhelming feature,' she says.

'You can also experiment with botanical-themed rugs and textured carpets, seamlessly integrating nature-inspired prints with functional design.'

If you want to incorporate these prints into your bathroom but aren't quite ready to commit to wallpaper, try some floral hand towels or a botanical shower curtain for a similar effect.
