Kelly Clarkson's holiday must-haves include snuggly blankets, trees, and a Christmas village – her favorites begin under $50

The singer revealed that she likes to have multiple trees in her home for the holidays – along with cozy linens and gingerbread houses

As a frequent collaborator with Wayfair, Kelly Clarkson has become a trusted voice in the world of interior design. Her collections are chic and affordable and, as such, provide us with a consistent source of sophisticated (and accessible) home styling inspiration.

In fact, the singer, songwriter, and talk show host recently hopped on Instagram to share her holiday home essentials, and we have to say that we are on board with them.

Her first pick? 'Multiple trees [available from Wayfair],' she states in the clip. 'My kids each get one in their rooms; they're smaller, and they get to decorate in their own little style.'

She continues, 'Gingerbread houses because we do them every year. Sometimes, they don't make it all the way to getting built because you eat them. I am all about a snuggly blanket. [Also,] Christmas village [on Wayfair] – we have an old school, classic Christmas village, and it lights up and makes me happy.' Below, we have rounded up Clarkson's essentials, because it's not too late to follow her lead before the big day.

Clarkson's picks aside, our editors have hand-picked some Christmas decor essentials that are shaping their own homes this December. We particularly love these velvet bows (from Anthropologie) – an instant way to tap into one of the biggest holiday trends (bows) of the year.
