The I Wanna Love You Forever singer bought the guard-gated home in 2013 from Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne for $11.5 million. At that time, celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard (who has designed homes for A-list clients including Kylie Jenner, Cher, and Tommy Hillfiger) undertook a massive renovation for Jessica Simpson and then-husband NFL player Eric Johnson. The current iteration of the estate is strongly imprinted with Martyn's coveted style featuring stylish wallpaper, bright green furniture, and generally filled with colorful room ideas.
The home is listed by Bret Harrison of Coldwell Banker Realty. Jessica Simpson's former estate spans approximately 13,274 square feet on a base of 2.25 acres of land. It includes 7 bedrooms and 13 total bathrooms, 6 of which are full baths. Outdoor amenities include a heated pool and a private in-ground spa as well as a guest house.
All of the design is fantastic, but one of the most stunning features of Jessica's home is the fabulous color-drenched kitchen. Deep turquoise walls, ceilings, cabinets, kitchen island, and window treatments create the feel of one cohesive space. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling to add a bit of glamor to the modern kitchen. The beautiful room is also highly functional, including top-of-the-line Wolf Appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a large breakfast nook.
For $22 million, The Dukes of Hazzard actress's former home and all its fabulous decorating ideas can be yours.
