Jennifer Lopez’s bathroom walls put an unconventional spin on the ‘warm minimalism’ trend
JLo rejects quiet luxury for a look that is simultaneously opulent and cozy – and her unconventional tiles will be everywhere in 2024

Quiet luxury, one of 2023's biggest interior design trends, doesn’t always have to whisper. Sometimes, loud luxury can look just as elegant. Jennifer Lopez’s bathroom proves that visibly expensive materials can still make for a sumptuous interior design energy that doesn’t appear cold or showy.
JLo has chosen opulent white quartz tiles with white, gray, and pink undertones for her bathroom walls, and the look is stunning.
The singer's bathroom tiles are already a hit among interior design experts. First, designers love the texture that the tiles offer to a space. Marzia Dainelli, interior designer at Dainelli Studio, states: ‘Using decorative tiles or bathroom wall tiles such as marble or stone can give a more elegant and special look to the designed bathroom. Even a seemingly simple tile with a distinctive finish can add that detail to make the bathroom an eye-catching space.’

On the subject of JLo’s bathroom walls, Jennifer Ebert, Digital Editor at Homes & Gardens, adds: ‘These quartz tiles add a fantastic sense of movement to Jennifer Lopez’s space. The white veins running through the grayish-beige colors create an ocean of texture. Choosing tiles rather than a slab helps to add the visual interest of a more textured surface. Furthermore, the marble material signals luxury and opulence for an expensive feel.’

Jennifer continues, ‘The abundance of natural light in this bathroom also helps give a cozy and relaxed vibe to this space. Although the decor is sparse and neutral, the room feels bright and warm because it is filled with sunshine. The brightness works well against the bathroom tiles because it reflects off their glossy surface. Together, the luxurious materials with the natural light create an elevated, warm energy in JLo’s bathroom.’
Warm minimalist neutrals are not going anywhere in 2024, but the style of the look is shifting to be more luxurious. As usual, Jennifer Lopez is supplying major inspiration for an emerging design trend.
