Jared Leto's calming living room design celebrates the 'quiet luxury' trend with a classic color scheme
Warm, neutral tones epitomize the 'quiet luxury' trend in the actor's living room. Interior designers love the stylish and calming look
Between his busy acting schedule and touring with his music group Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto needs a calming place to rest. His warm neutral living room is the perfect spot.
In a recent Instagram video, with TikTok star Johnny Valentine, the 'House of Gucci' actor settles into a train velvet sofa with his younger lookalike. A deeper look into the quiet luxury living room reveals cream walls and hardwood floors. Behind them, a painting, resembling a Salvador Dali sketch, sits high on the wall. On the ground, a beige oriental rug adds visual interest, while an oval-shaped, black coffee table contrasts with the look.
Not only does the cozy color scheme create a serene feel, but it also taps into one of the biggest continuing interior design trends of 2024: quiet luxury. The quiet luxury trend celebrates high-quality materials, warm neutrals, and cozy, natural fabrics.

Experts say that even though this look has been coined 'a trend,' it's more than a passing fad. Jennifer Ebert, digital editor at Homes & Gardens states: 'Quiet luxury is the phrase on everyone's lips right now, but ultimately the color scheme is a classic. Warm neutrals and quality materials are always in style, and I don't see them ever going away, even as trends change. For this reason, Leto's has a timeless living room.'
Lena Gierasinska, furniture expert at Barker and Stonehouse refers to the 2024 iteration of the trend as 'organic luxe' with the inclusion of more natural materials, as we see in Jared Leto's living room. Furthermore, she states that this quiet luxury look embodies 'serene comfort.'
'A celebration of simplicity and relaxation, this soothing scheme embodies soft pastel shades and natural textures, the perfect combination for evoking a sense of warmth and connection to nature. It’s all about warm woods, pastel colors and soft fabrics, a beautiful blend of materials and color that reflect the light, open and refreshing feel of the summer season,' Gierasinska tells H&G. Leto's neutral living room celebrates this look with hardwood floors, and the rich, velvet texture of his sofa.

If you're looking for inspiration for a stylish living room that will never date, look no further than Jared Leto's space. Its warm colors and textural appeal will be just as alluring in 100 years.
