EXCLUSIVE: Drew Barrymore says this one accent piece deserves a place in even the smallest of living rooms
'We are on a mission to make your entire home more beautiful beyond the kitchen': And success begins with this furnishing
When Drew Barrymore launched Beautiful in 2021, she outlined her mission to create kitchenware that's as functional as it is good-looking. Three years later, the actress turned producer, talk show host, and designer has expanded her ideology to spaces beyond our countertops – and it begins with her eponymously named accent chair.
'We are on a mission to make your entire home more beautiful beyond the kitchen,' Barrymore says in an exclusive interview with H&G.' Our Drew Chair was the first launch in our home collection, and it did so well. We're excited to now have a full living room collection that is affordable but offers really unique designs.'
For those who are already fans of Beautiful, the Sage Green and Cornflower Blue colorways are instantly associable with Barrymore's kitchen offerings – from her air fryer to that all-important coffee maker. However, the soft furnishings bring these hues into yet more spaces.
'We're sticking with our popular kitchenware colors, like the Sage Green Drew Chair or Cornflower Blue Wrap Me Up Chair,' Barrymore says.
The extensive choice of colors available sets this furnishing aside. However, its versatility is perhaps its most notable quality. As Barrymore explains, it's compact enough to fit in a small living room or awkward nook, but its flexible size doesn't mean it makes any less of a statement.
'The Drew Chair [is] a great size for a house or an apartment. It can go in a bedroom, a reading nook or we've seen some people buy two to add to their living room seating,' Barrymore explains. 'The white matches everything, and the sage green is a great pop of color that is still subtle. It's such a great chair, and we have more colors on the way!'
Another key to Beautiful's sucsess? Barrymore's business partner, entrepreneur Shae Hong, who is the mastermind behind the appliances and furniture offerings.

'Drew is so passionate about this brand – she is such an amazing partner who is involved in every aspect,' Hong adds.
'She has been right next to me through every step, every new product or color collection launch, every new piece of innovation like our new Perfect Grind Coffee Machine. Something that stands out with her designs is her choice of colors - she has such a strong vision and point of view and a lot of great ideas. We have a really strong trust with each other.'
