How Drew Barrymore's latest role will bring a sense of individuality and style to every home
'I am the new Chief Gifting Officer at one of my favorite places on this planet': Here's what her new job means for our spaces
Drew Barrymore: actress, producer, talk show host, and author, just added a new role to her resume. 'I am the new Chief Gifting Officer at one of my favorite places on this planet, Etsy,' she announces. So, what does her latest position involve?
'As Etsy’s first Chief Gifting Officer, I’m thrilled to show Etsy shoppers how easy and joyful it is to make the people in their lives feel special through the perfect gift... Think of me as your gifting fairy godmother!'
Etsy, known as the go-to platform for personalized products from small businesses, spans the fashion and art industries – but naturally, we're more interested in their home decor offerings. As part of her new role, Drew curated a gift guide perfect for an inspiring 'interior designer' and for the 'nature lover', both of which have the potential to add some Drew Barrymore-approved flair to our spaces.

'What I want to do is help people with gifting. Etsy is the best place for gifts because they have pretty much everything… You can personalize things; that’s special,' Drew says in the footage above. 'I love that every time I go on Etsy, I know I am supporting someone who is a small business owner. I’m just saying Etsy is everything.'
We can shop Drew Barrymore's picks on Etsy right now, but, for a failsafe starting point, we've listed our favorites below.
This handmade vase is the new coffee table must-have. It's the perfect base for a single stem or a bouquet of spring flowers since the season is approaching, after all.
Handcrafted from earthenware clay, these delicate yet vibrant mugs will elevate any morning coffee experience. We love how the oranges continue on the inside, and it would seem Drew does, too.
This sleek candle holder brings a Scandi-style twist to our mantel tops or tablescape. The 3D printing enables a sharp, crisp detailing that's impossible to replicate. And they won't chip or break if dropped.
If we're looking for a uniquely shaped lamp, this piece is as individual as they come. It's aesthetic enough to make a statement, even when the lamp isn't giving off its light. What more could we want from a lighting fixture?
Inspired by the art of the twentieth century, this giclee print with three abstract heads exhibits figurative forms in rich, warm, and cold black tones that will work with every type of color palette and decorating style.
This mid-century modern shelf is almost too stylish to be practical. It features solid wood boho floating shelves for plants, candles, and books, and is available in a choice of four colors, so we can find one that's perfect for our home.
