Rapper Cardi B is known for her unique style and sense of humor, but we also need to give the I Like It artist credit for her interior design style. The Hustlers actress posed on the front steps of her Atlanta home and we’re not over the neutral decor.

Cardi posed in her entryway wearing a fabulous Jean Paul Gaultier jumpsuit, gripping the dark wood banister of her stylish steps. The neutral color scheme of the steps steals the show. the railway shines in dark finished wood, the black ironwork of the steps brings a bit of drama, and the bright white of the walls makes the darker neutrals stand out even more. Though the combination is simple, the contrast of light and dark neutrals creates a bold effect. In large part, the drama of the room can be owed to the most classic color: the white walls.
Interior designers love the use of white because it will always stay in style. ‘While it is true that design trends evolve, cream-white paints remain a classic choice that transcends fads. Their versatility allows them to blend with both traditional and contemporary design aesthetics seamlessly, ensuring their relevance for years to come’ says Elizabeth Grace, interior designer and founder of the Dream Homemaking blog.
‘Cream and white paints are considered timeless because they are versatile, are easy to clean, and have been popular for hundreds of years. They are unlikely to go out of style anytime soon and are an excellent choice for homeowners looking for a classic paint color’ adds Mohammed Ahmed, interior designer and founder of The Hold Guidance. ‘Cream and white paints are versatile, make rooms look larger, highlight other colors, and are easy to care for’ he continues.

If you are interested in decorating with white in your home, Mohammed recommends ‘when choosing a cream or white paint color, keep the overall style of your home, the amount of natural light in the room, and the colors of your furniture.’
Elizabeth Grace adds ‘cream/white paints can be easily refreshed by introducing new accent colors, textures, or patterns, enabling homeowners to update their spaces without completely reinventing the color scheme.’
‘The neutral nature of cream/white paints allows them to serve as a backdrop that enhances other design elements, such as furniture, artwork, and accessories. Their understated elegance provides a sense of balance and allows for greater flexibility when incorporating different color palettes or textures.’
