Bethenny Frankel calls this fragrance 'the best candle in the world' – she claims it's 'on the level' with $500 scents, even though it's under $40

We tend to think that the best home fragrances need to cost a fortune, but this isn't always the case. In fact, the former Real Housewives of New York Star Bethenny Frankel, famously a connoisseur of luxury, swears by an ultra-affordable candle from an unexpected source: Bath & Body Works.

'The best candle in the world is this candle. It is the White Barn Bath & Body Works Iced Dragon Fruit Tea Candle,' Frankel effused on her YouTube channel. 'I know I'm going to sell it out, and then I'm not going to be able to have it for myself. Please, Bath & Body Works, save some for me. I don't know what's in it; I don't care, do your own research. It is my life.'

Furthermore, Frankel explains that the candle is an affordable way to make your home smell nice. She says: 'I have candles that are $500, sadly, this is at the level. It makes me so happy.... it makes me live for my house. I can't even tell you. I want to gatekeep it because I don't want to lose it and I don't want it to not be there anymore, but I will share. It is amazing.' Clearly, the former Real Housewife believes that the fragrance is worth the cost.

Unfortunately for Frankel, her prediction came true and the candle is out of stock at Bath & Body Works. Luckily, the home fragrance is not gone from the world. Amazon still has a variety of Bath & Body Works Iced Dragonfruit Tea candles available at the right price. If you want an even more accessible option, creators on Etsy have made wax melts out of the legendary candle. If you are interested in testing the scent at a low cost, or just aren't a candle person, these are a great option.

Whether you scent your home with a $500 candle or a $10 fragrance, the important thing is that the scent is authentically you. The right signature scent makes all the difference in helping you 'live for your house,' as Frankel would say.
