Andy Cohen's West Village apartment features bright colors, big windows, and lots of character – it's on sale for $14 million
Andy Cohen's restored West Village property is expansive and elegant, with some humorous and vibrant touches to be expected from the TV host
Andy Cohen may be seen most often in the Watch What Happens Live! lounge, where he interviews celebrities and discusses all things Bravo reality TV, but up until recently, he called a West Village apartment home.
The host and producer's former abode was just listed for sale for $14,000,000, and it's a gem worth peeking at.
Built as a pre-war unit in the coveted New York City neighborhood and renovated by interior designer Eric Hughes and architect Gordon Kahn, the apartment features three bedrooms. 4.5 bathrooms, and not one but two wood-burning fireplaces. The best part? There are 25 windows, giving panoramic views of the city and plenty of natural light to the two-floor, 3,500 sq. ft. apartment.
The living room is arugably the centerpiece of the home. Plush, green carpet contrasts opposing blue and striped sofas, while a gold-rimmed coffee table keeps the room feeling sophisticated. Meanwhile, some pop art (a staple in the apartment) adds some froth.
Every entertainer needs ample dining space, and Cohen's fits the bill. The beautiful and unique, striped chandelier, hangs delicately over the dining table accompanied by both benches and seats, with a perfect view of the New York City skyline from the windows.
The powder room is hard to miss thanks to its fire engine red paint job and gallery wall of more pop art. We love how vibrant this space is, with textured red features, such as a velvet seat and lacquered vanity adding dimension to the space.
The bedroom features a gray backdrop and colorful details, including a plush, purple carpet, a green, tartan bed frame, and a blue bedside table. The gold wall lamps and quirky Snoopy sculpture combine luxury and humour – a recurring theme in the apartment.

Meanwhile, the bathroom continues the industrial gray theme, with vivid pops of blue on the shower tiling. A wood tub once again brings some of the natural world into the urban space.
The spacious kitchen taps into subtle metallic accents via gold handles on cabinetry, while the cabinets themselves are covered in a rich, blue hue. The floral wallpaper contrasts the urban, city background, visible from multiple windows in the area.
Step into Andy Cohen's office: warm woods offer a handsome demeanor, while a striped, rainbow carpet and black and white, patterned seats make the area feel inviting. We particularly love the open shelving unit in the space, with plenty of room for books and decor.
The nursery space is bright thanks to double windows, along with a sunset pattern on one of the walls.
The stunning staircase, designed by Gordon Kahn, divides the two floors and is a masterwork in material combination, comprising of glass, walnut, and steel.
Andy Cohen's apartment is listed with Ryan Serhant and Donna Strugatz at Serhant.
