Alessandra Ambrosio's Santa Monica living room is the ultimate boho-inspired and relaxed family space
A light and airy home filled with natural textures, we're inspired by the bohemian abode of Alessandra Ambrosio

Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio's family home is a relaxed and boho-inspired sanctuary.
The home, in Santa Monica, California, was originally built in 1920 and champions a Spanish Colonial Revival design style. Ambrosio turned to celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to help design the home into a personalized space, where she resides with her two children.
'Martyn brought a lot of color, texture, and life to the project. I love exotic places, and he knows how to conjure a fantasy that still feels playful and appropriate for kids. I didn’t want anything too stiff or serious,' Ambrosio previously told Architectural Digest.

Taking to Instagram, Martyn Lawrence Bullard shared a glimpse into the living space of the home, which he describes as 'casually chic' and 'boho inspired.'
The bohemian living room ideas is a family-centric space that looks relaxed and cozy. The all-white walls give the space a light and airy feeling, whilst the natural materials, such as rattan, and the mismatched soft furnishings help promote a bohemian and beachy feel.
'This living room is perfectly curated for family and gathering with loved ones,' says interior designer Jessica Bagwell.
Hudson Rose Interiors is an Atlanta-based interior design company, creating functional and visually creative design solutions for homeowners that reflect the personalities of clients.
Seamlessly balancing style with practicality, the large corner sofa, which is a custom Martyn Lawrence Bullard design, acts as a focal point in the room and looks endlessly comfortable, whilst its low profile means it doesn't overpower the space.

'The sectional sofa is thoughtfully designed to fit under the windows and the gray textile contrasts the airy space,' Bagwell observes.
Adding an element of interest to the high, sloped ceiling of the Colonial-style house, a traditional-style light fills the space, as Bagwell goes on to explain: 'The antique light fixture brings your eyes to the vaulted ceiling and nickel-gap shiplap.'
