Nicola Stocken is an award-winning photographer and writer, conveying the beauty of gardens and plants through words and pictures that appear in publications worldwide. For some 30 years, she has photographed throughout the British Isles, meeting the remarkable people behind some of the country's loveliest gardens, specialist nurseries and unique plant collections. In her professional life, her love of plants is second only to that of photographing a garden for the first time, capturing its different moods as the light shifts from dawn to dusk. Aside from work, she runs, sails and paddleboards, but is happiest sharing food and her Thames-side garden with family and friends.
