Amberly R. Johnson, PharmD, DABAT, is the Director of the Utah Poison Control Center (UPCC) and an Assistant Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. She is a board-certified clinical toxicologist and the fellowship director for the UPCC Fellowship in Clinical and Applied Toxicology. She received her PharmD from the University of Utah in 2013 and then completed a 2-year clinical toxicology fellowship with the UPCC. Before pharmacy school, Amber worked as a Senior Laboratory Technologist in the Clinical Toxicology section of ARUP Laboratories. He research interests include topics related to poison control center operations, utilization, and value and poison-related exposures.
