Abby Wilson joined Homes & Gardens as a News Writer, with a focus on interior design, in December 2023.
She recently graduated from New York University with a degree in Journalism and English Literature, and she served as Managing Editor for the Washington Square News, NYU’s independent student newspaper. While at university, she also interned with New York City publications including the New York Daily News and NY1.
Upon graduation, she interned with Better Homes & Gardens in New York, writing and editing content about home decor, gardening tips, food news, and more. She stayed on as a freelance writer and editor during her move to London.
She’s originally from a suburb of Chicago and is having a great time exploring London. When not writing, you’ll most likely find her browsing a bookstore or exploring a park. Because she’s moved around quite a bit in the last several years, she loves transforming spaces into comfortable retreats that feel just like home. When it comes to decor, she’s most drawn to unique vintage finds and calming colors.
